Hello, my name is Richard Parry and I would like to thank you for
visiting our web-site.
I am a local person to the Chew Valley having lived in the area
for over 40 years and my company Parry Tree Services is
based in the village of Hinton Blewett.
Having always had a keen interest in nature and the natural landscape I am extremely
passionate about helping to
maintain the beautiful surroundings we have here and aspire
to incorporate my feelings into the work we undertake.
After leaving University with a degree in Geology I worked
for some time as a resident geologist on an oil rig off the
Scottish coast until realising that my peace of mind depended
on finding an occupation that would be associated with the countryside. Fortunately,
I was able to receive 12 year’s
wide-ranging, hand’s-on experience with my brother’s
company (Green Mantle) a nature conservation contractor, before deciding to specialise
in private tree care on my own behalf.
Having gained my NPTC (National Proficiency Tests Council-Forestry & Arboriculture)
qualification at Radstock College
in 1997, I subsequently formed Parry Tree Services and
began to practise on a small scale in my local area. The
demand was there, the projects were varied and I am fully confident that as a company
we now have the experience and equipment to tackle the most demanding of jobs.
However, we are still a small friendly business that employs
just four people each of whom are committed to providing
the best service possible to our clients, be they new to us or
those who have kindly continued to choose us for their arboricultural needs.
